AASLifeFlight has met the requirement set forth by the United States Department of Transport. We are classified as a Foreign Air Carrier meeting the DOT commercial air carrier Quality and Safety Standards. Meeting the strict accreditation standards of the DOT covers every part of the AASLifeFlight’s operation from patient medical care to aircraft certifications.

Federal Aviation Administration

AASLifeFlight has an FAA Air Carrier Certificate to operate as an Air Ambulance. AASLifeFlight’s aircraft are maintained and serviced by an FAA approved maintenance facility under the strict guidelines of all Federal Aviation Regulations, Part 135, as it pertains to maintenance and inspections. A routine inspection of our maintenance facility and aircraft records are carried out by both the Federal Aviation Administration and Civil Aviation Department to ensure our compliance to aircraft safety.

Our Fleet

AASLifeFlight’s fleet is comprised of 2 fixed-wing aircraft. They are the Beechcraft King-Air 200B and the Beechcraft King-Air 90. These fixed-winged, medically-equipped aircraft are capable of short-range and long-range flights.
